The maple mold leaves a visible, subtle grain on the metal shade that catches light beautifully on my hallway wall. Assembly took minutes, and the swing arm lets me angle it exactly over my reading chair without any wobble.

The swing arm actually reaches over my reading chair, which I wasn't sure it would from the photos. Hand-spun shade has a nice weight to it, and the wood grain shows through the finish way more than I expected. Wired it to a dimmer and it's been perfect for late nights.
