Alluminio cerato

Finished a few pieces with this waxed aluminum and the coating really does keep fingerprints away, which is a nice bonus. The brushed grain gives it a subtle texture that looks clean under light. Exactly what I needed for a modern fixture project.

The brushed grain on this aluminium looks fantastic in person, and the wax coat gives it a nice satin sheen without feeling sticky. I’ve been using it for a few days and it hasn’t picked up any fingerprints or dust, which is exactly what I needed.

I was worried the wax coat would feel greasy but it's actually dry to the touch and the brushed grain still shows through. Wiped it down with a dry microfiber cloth like the instructions say and it looks the same as the day it arrived, no oxidation spots at all.
